So badly written. I finally watched the season two premier yesterday after I finished this book, and the show really is so much better. The characters are more rounded, the plots are more developed and interesting, and the writing is less clunky-dialogue sounds like people talking and not clunkers to move the plot along. Plus I like that the plots of the show don't revolve around romance they way they do in the books, surprising considering it's on Lifetime. Like I said, I will read the next book because I bought it, but I'm done with the series and I'll enjoy the show instead.
