Cupcakes, Trinkets, and Other Deadly Magic
Amateur writing badly in need of an editor. Jade was one of the most stupidly oblivious narrators I've read in a while. Somehow the last half of the book redeemed itself from the one star, so it's closer to 1.5 stars but this is not a great book. I am side-eyeing all those 5 star reviews. However, as much eye rolling as I did I didn't hate the book. I suspect the fact that this book had multiple female characters had something to do with that.Full review here.
